Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese celebrated 5 years of making cheese at the beginning of August! This achievement could not have been possible without the support of the local community and consumers across Ontario. The team at Gunn's Hill has huge gratitude for the folks who continuously try to buy local and artisan. Not only are you supporting small Ontario businesses, but you are ensuring that your family is consuming a high quality product!
Over the last five years Gunn's Hill has grown from only producing three types of cheeses to over a dozen now. The facility space has also doubled in this time along with the work force. Owners Shep Ysselstein and Colleen Bator couldn't be prouder to be a part of the rich dairy culture that has represented Oxford County for hundreds of years. Producing only hand made, high quality cheeses using their own family's milk has been the driver behind the success story of this small business.
You can now find Gunn's Hill Artisan cheeses in about 300 locations across Ontario. Keep your eyes peeled for an Oxford County treat at your local grocery store, cheese shop, farmers market or restaurant!
